Uncycle Parade Float (part 1)

 Happy Thanksgiving!
As I write this, the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is being broadcast.  A perfect day to post about making uncycled parade floats from plastic shopping bags.

Below, you'll find step-by-step pictorial, demonstrated by my assistant Maia.   We used spray paint from cans for this project, but see my blog "Senior Gift of Sustainability", for an ecologically better painting solution.
Happy Celebrating!

So here we go!

Unlike tissue-pomp sheeting, this uncycled version is re-usable, cutting down landfill waste.  And you cut down on buying new poly-vinyl products, if you make your own from recycled materials.

I found these 2 sites to be very helpful as well:
Valley Decorators: Click here to learn how to build a float from the trailer, up!
Go here for Shindigz free Parade Float blog, with how to assemble the basics, and some great float ideas.
