Happy Epiphany! (or) Yet Another Party!

Today is "Armenian Christmas" for one of my London friends of Orthodox descent.
It is also "3 Kings Day" for my Mexican Catholic friends, and  "Epiphany" for us Anglo Protestant types.

The 3 kings, you remember, started the whole Christmas Gift Giving thing.  They brought gold, frankincense and myrrh to the baby Jesus.  In my book that translates as the 3 main types of Christmas presents:
Toys,
Treats,
and Treasures.

Basically. it is yet another reason to party in the Name of God, with all the saints and angels, in the Beatific Vision, and praise Him from on high, Oh, Ye Jigs and Juleps!

It is also my main justification for NOT taking down the tree yet.

Dianne is planning her tree takedown this weekend.  She needs 2 days off to sort and itemize her collections, but was NOT doing it till after 3 Kings!
Juana was on the way home, to get ready for their 3 Kings party.  They are serving a "Rostro de Reyes", with hot chocolate and tamales.
(the combination of flavors and toys sounds simply irresistible to me!)

  Tasty Theology!

I'll have to think of something fun to eat and do tonight.
Meanwhile,

If you've never read "Oh Ye Jigs and Juleps!", you can hear the first chapter, (a kids version of the sacraments) read out loud,
