-profound meditation on the  likelihood that Home Videos of me telling "Shaggy Dog Stories" will drive more traffic to my site than Home Videos of me blethering philosophically about art.

-checked in with my middle daughter; made appointment to be mother-like next week sometime.

-sort thru paper stacks in living room to find car VIN number, and see if I'm still under warranty;

-make "Sunset Cafe" sign for apartment mailbox board.  (Bring your own coffee and chat)
 Discover my felt pens have all dried up.  (gnats!)  And my aquarelles are tepid. (not in the budget right now)

-nice conversation with procurement lady about a donation.  I'm sending "Persona" to a gala event silent auction to raise money for D2Lrevolution.com.
Any church for "fringies" has my heart; Are we not all strangers and sojourners?

- dealing with a service vendor and (their) breach of contract. (groan) They'd like to penalize me for quitting their abuse, citing their own version of contact breachment.(is that really a word?) I may have to make this a Holy War, but I 'd rather do paperdolls.

-No "mininano" (named for my grandmother, in her Tasmanian Devil mode) cleanup today- it's under control til tomorrow

-Loaded 2 bags of books to used bookstore for credit: Bought every "#1 Ladies Detective" book on their shelves.  Good, because I have to fill in with new ones at Barnes and Nobles. (also not in the budget, but one must support ones favorite authors and binge reading addictions)

-Dropped by Fresh + Easy for Watermelon, Mango Chicken, and (of course) Mozarella. (which they joyfully have on sale this week!)

-Cruised thru Starbucks during their downtime; met CJ who's new, and reminds me of one of my friends' mothers. (where does that apostrophe go?)

-5:30 now. Unload grocs, feed demanding Kitty, and outline my blogs for this month.  Is there time to scan a neon tower for visual interest?  Yes!  Sunset isn't for an hour yet.

*Cracker Box Palace:
a place where journalist/editor Fletcher Allderdice + I lived in the 1970's.  I always flashback to it this time of year, because it is wine cooler weather. ( a tradition at CBP)....(outline a post on wine cooler weather.  or have I done that already last year?)
